Organizations, camps, and programs our families have found valuable:
- Camp Howe: inclusive summer camp in Goshen, MA
- Camp Starfish: one-to-one camp programs for children who need individual attention
- DCR Universal Access Program: accessible outdoor recreation in Massachusetts state parks
- Family Empowerment: support for families in Western Massachusetts
- The United Arc: support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Whole Children and Milestones: recreation and enrichment programs in Northampton for children, teens, and adults of all abilities
Affiliated programs
Packard Mountain is an early learning center at our Belchertown location, serving infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, with a limited after-care program for school-age children. Its curriculum is research-based and aligned with the Massachusetts State Guidelines for Early Learning. ABAS and Packard Mountain are affiliated companies.
Advocacy organizations
- Parent/Professional Advocacy League (PPAL): family-run organization supporting families of children with mental health needs
- Federation for Children with Special Needs: information, support, and advocacy for families of children with disabilities
